Forum: Music Theory
The Israeli Music Theory Forum (IMTF) was founded in 2012 by members of the Israel Musicological Society (IMS) to advance music theoretical research interests and professional exchange. The forum acts under the aegis of the IMS, organizing, among other activities, days of study on specific music theoretical topics and pre-organized sessions within IMS conferences. Forum members are active as music theorists, musicologists, music theory teachers at research universities and music colleges in Israel (and abroad) and as independent scholars, publishing and presenting on a variety of music theoretical subjects in Israel and internationally.
